Rose McMonigall studied Classics at Oxford University, followed by Fine Art at The University for the Creative Arts at Farnham. Her passion for garden design, however, has developed and evolved through her infectious curiosity of life, nature and its peculiarities.

If you explore the glorious gardens at Dipley Mill in Hampshire you will experience the principles of Rose’s design. She manages to create an environment which looks so utterly effortless, an extension of the nature that surrounds it, which draws you in, envelops you and allows you to lose yourself in your own imagination.

It is far from formulaic. Each and every project is approached with clear vision, creativity and abundant allure. From her medal winning “Route of The Camellia” at Hampton Court to the awarded communal gardens at No. 1 Oxshott her versatility, diversity and originality shine.

Her creative passions extend from the garden through to fossil hunting, exploring her beloved Isle of Wight, sailing (including crossing the Atlantic) and teaching yoga.
