Our beautiful Water Meadow is flanked by a variety of specimen trees including the wonderfully fragranced balsam poplar and the aromatic Katsura – also known as the toffee apple tree. Early in the season, the two tree types work in harmony to spread a sweet, sugary smell throughout the grounds.
